While Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley escaped from a relentless winter, ABEAR left behind warm comforts and holed up for the writing and recording of a collection of explosive dream pop in a former Bethlehem machine shop. Shared surroundings and a compulsion to take them apart lent pieces with which they rebuild our dreary dreams, setting them against a collage-pop background of haunted melodies.
